Dear Parent or Expectant Mother,
For the past 6 years I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Rabbi Shalom Denbo. I have referred his services as a mohel to my patients with utmost confidence. Aside from seeing him perform the ceremony for many of my patients, I arranged for him to officiate at the bris of my own son.
Having performed countless circumcisions in the hospital myself, I recognize Rabbi Denbo's excellent training and expertise. Rabbi Denbo's skills as a mohel are matched only by his speaking and teaching abilities. He explains the many facets of the ceremony so that all present understand the meaning and relevance behind this beautiful tradition. I strongly urge you to use Rabbi Denbo's services.

Rabbi Denbo performed our son's circumcision last week, and we were so moved and impressed by his professionalism, great care, and meaningful words during the ceremony. He was extremely easy to work with, and most importantly, did an incredible job with the circumcision. Both our pediatrician and doula commented on how it looked perfect after the ceremony, and it healed quickly and easily with no problems. Rabbi Denbo spoke beautifully about the purpose and meaning behind a circumcision and had a good sense of humor, too. After the procedure, he spoke thoroughly and with great care to my husband and me about how to care for the area. He was clear and to the point and insisted we call him at any hour with any questions/concerns that may come up. He called to follow up with us the next day to check on our son, who was recovering beautifully. We had a wonderful experience with Rabbi Denbo and recommend him most enthusiastically!

Rabbi Denbo eased my worries about the bris immediately, walking me through the entire ceremony over the phone, making sure I understood the checklist, and even visiting our boy the day before to make sure everything was okay. Rabbi Denbo is a "cut" above the rest. Couldn't resist. Put aside the fact that our Pediatrician commented on what a perfect cut it was, Rabbi Denbo's spiritual ceremony at our son's Bris a few weeks ago was exactly what we had envisioned. He was able to share the historical and Judaic importance of the Bris in a way that really resonated with us all. He incorporated a part of the ceremony that we had requested (we had 4 generations of family there and wanted to pass my son into the arms of each of the generations prior to the circumcision). Later he explained to my wife and me the medical post-care plan and explained it twice, which frankly really helped reinforce things (as we were pretty sleep-deprived). Highly recommend Rabbi Denbo.

Rabbi Denbo was fantastic.
The prep: he walked us through everything and answered every single question with a great deal of patience.
Before the ceremony: He was very calming and made sure that we, mom and dad, were the priority. He made sure everyone knew what they needed to do quickly and easily.
The ceremony: a beautiful moment led by a sweetheart who made sure that great-grandma was honored, told all attendees the rituals and meanings such that it didn't matter if you were Orthodox, Conservative, Reform or gentile. Everyone understood the ceremony.
The procedure: our pediatrician 7 days later said "perfect." He is surgically precise and 100% trustworthy.
After the ceremony: he took us, mom, dad and baby, and explained how to clean and care for our little boy. He didn't leave until he knew that we knew.
After after the ceremony: We had a question, so I texted him. Rabbi Denbo responded with a phone call and offered to come over to help us if we really needed him to. We didn't, but it was so nice to know that he would come over if we felt we had an emergency.
All in all, if we have another boy, there's nobody else who we want to perform this kashrut sacred mitzvah.

Meeting the Rabbi, one is immediately consumed by his charming bedside manner, not that he attended our Bris as a Doctor but as the Mohel.
All the more and so welcoming was the short but the detailed explicit of the Tradition since the times of Abraham, whom has been given the honours, duty, privilege and why.
It bestowed all with an awe of the entire ceremony not only religious but including like on a Passover Night the questions combined with answers, all felt relaxed and special to be involved on this wonderful occasion.
One fears the unknown especially at such a moment, but leaves one feeling special, informed and educated, it was also remarked by those who were not Jewish how wonderful it was to be part of a long Tradition and History.
